Strolling Along-B

Picture of  five cheetahs strolling along a dirt road. These cheetahs have been one of the numerous highlights of the Phinda Game Reserve. Rising before sun up and setting off to try and find these big cats; success like this can be very rewarding. With full bellies, they have not a care in the world as they are leisurely wander along. Four of these cheetahs are from the same mother and she adopted the fifth. She has been teaching these five how to hunt and survive.

Phinda Game Reserve is situated in the lush Maputaland region in northern KwaZulu-Natal bordering the World Heritage Site -- The  Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park.  Scenic Rivers, floodplains and open pans make up the bulk of seven distinct habitats found in the Phinda Reserve.   Phinda is possibly the best cheetah viewing anywhere.
